Children's Community Support Worker (Female)
We are currently recruiting an experienced female community support worker to support children with complex needs in the Swansea area.
One of the services you will work with will be a two year old with Dravet Syndrome. This service is complex and requires the person to be confident in relation to dealing with epilepsy and seizure management. Training and support will be given from both family and Family Support Wales.
The ideal candidates will have experience of providing community support to children and young adults who require additional help and support with social inclusion and community involvement. Family Support Wales offer mandatory training and the opportunity to work on a flexible basis in a supported environment. We pay on a weekly basis and offer a competitive hourly rate.

Ability to empathise
Excellent team player
Assist with mobility issues.
Car driver essential
We are looking for warm and friendly personnel who have health and social care experience. You will be expected to work closely with the child's family and build a positive working relationship with them.
